Value StarIndex^™ website uses a search engine to accumulate publicly available information in order to rank hospitals as to sustainability, transparency, accountability, and reliability for patients and caregivers.

Value StarIndex^™ is a secure website only available to subscribers.

The subscriber can access the website and enter the name of a hospital that they are interested in.   Value StarIndex service will utilize an algorithm to find and report on parameters of sustainability, transparency, accountability and reliability.  The relative cost of procedures is then factored in to provide a value score.  The score is then translated into a Value StarIndex for comparative purposes.  This information is important to caregivers and patients.
